Brat
What it is
A Brat submits, but loves pushing back. Cheeky defiance and being made to behave are the fun part.
What it can look like
Talking back. Breaking a rule on purpose. Saying "make me". Teasing a partner until they react.

Not the same as
Someone who doesn't want to submit. The defiance is part of the game, and both people know it.
Doing it safely
Brats say "no" and "stop" as part of play, so you need a safeword that's definitely not part of the game, like "red". Agree which bits of pushback are playful and which aren't.

"I love being a bit of a brat. Would you enjoy putting me in my place?"
