Sensation seeker
What it is
A Sensation seeker loves intense physical feelings that aren't really about pain.
What it can look like
Hot wax, ice cubes, feathers, nails, fur or silk. Being blindfolded so every touch is a surprise. Hot and cold together.
Often pairs with
Not the same as
Masochist. Some sensations sting, but for a sensation seeker it's the intensity they're after, not the pain.
Doing it safely
Use body-safe wax made for play, never normal candles. Test heat and cold on your own arm first. Watch out for allergies with oils and materials.
