Master or Mistress
What it is
A Master or Mistress holds structured, often long-term authority over a partner, usually a slave. Rules, routines and protocol are a big part of it.
What it can look like
Daily rules the partner follows. Set ways to greet or address each other. Rituals like kneeling or asking permission. Taking responsibility for a partner's growth and wellbeing.

Not the same as
Dominant in general. Every Master or Mistress is dominant, but not every Dominant wants the structure and long-term commitment.
Doing it safely
Long-term control needs long-term check-ins. Have regular honest talks outside the dynamic, and write down what's agreed. The slave's wellbeing comes first, always.
