Edge player
What it is
An Edge player is drawn to riskier, more intense kinds of play, done with a lot of care.
What it can look like
Knife play where the blade doesn't cut. Needles. Fire play. Scenes that push hard against limits.

Not the same as
Being careless. Edge play needs more planning, skill and trust than anything else, not less.
Doing it safely
Learn from experienced people in person before trying anything. Have first aid nearby. Never mix it with alcohol or drugs. Some things are never safe enough to try: anything around breathing or the neck is one of them.
