Consent

Consent means everyone involved has said yes, freely, knowing what they're saying yes to. It can be taken back at any moment, for any reason. Someone who's drunk, high, asleep or pressured can't consent.

In kink, consent is talked about before a scene, not just assumed. A few ways people think about it:

• SSC: Safe, Sane, Consensual. The classic: keep it safe, keep your head clear, and make sure everyone agrees.
• RACK: Risk-Aware Consensual Kink. Nothing is perfectly safe, so know the risks and agree to them with your eyes open.
• PRICK: Personal Responsibility, Informed Consensual Kink. Everyone takes responsibility for knowing what they're getting into.
